There was a pool and a sauna right next to it, giving a strong sense of escape; I could relax for a long time and enjoyed a very luxurious period. The dango served at check‑in was delicious. The washing machine was a plus, though it would have been better if there had been something to hang clothes on; sorry if I just didn’t find it.

If you’re on the fence about booking the pool room, just go for it. We stayed two nights and spent a lot of time in the pool—perfect for unwinding after a long day of walking and a great spot to watch sunrise. It felt like an oasis amid a hot, busy city, and we loved every minute. Other highlights were the indoor/outdoor glass shower, thoughtful mood lighting, washer/dryer, bathroom amenities, sauna, pajamas, slippers, bathrobes—everything was spot‑on. The bed was so comfy that the sheets felt like clouds, and the whole experience was very thoughtful and sophisticated.

The outdoor bath was a nice way to unwind after long days on our feet, and the open space was beautiful with an incredible shower.

The location and most facilities were good, and the room was superb. The price and the chilly pool were drawbacks. I didn’t want to do the “write a review and get free snacks” thing while I was there; I get why they do it, but it felt a bit much, so I skipped it.
