The location is unbeatable; everything’s within walking distance. When I arrived, they told me I could only pay in cash or, if I wanted, transfer to a Lithuanian account; eventually they let me use a card for an extra €10. The Wi‑Fi doesn’t reach the room, and sometimes you can hear arguments—maybe staff or other guests. Otherwise, it’s all right.

The only real draw is the square location—you’re basically in the centre. The hosts were very friendly and let me leave my luggage until the evening. Unfortunately, the hotel sits in an old building with steep, narrow stairs that make it hard to move luggage up or down. The double room has just one table and no dishes at all (I get it’s not an apartment, but at least two glasses would help). Wi‑Fi only works if you stand right next to the router, and there’s no signal at all—windows show nothing but concrete walls, like a bunker. The building also houses a restaurant kitchen, so you constantly hear pots clanging, someone shoveling broken glass, and the smell of cooking everywhere. The proximity to the airport means constant airplane noise, but that’s not a hotel fault—it’s just the location.

The location is spectacular in the historic neighbourhood, clean, spacious, and comfortable. The only downside was the lack of light; we had to wait for someone to open the door, and we had to communicate through Booking to get it done.

The location is very good, and the service is also nice. The doors were a bit difficult to open, and the Wi‑Fi didn’t work in the room or even the 5G on my phone.
