The stay at Traum House was wonderful and totally recommendable. Raj and Carina (the hosts) are very hospitable and helpful. The hostel is close to UWI and feels very secure. It’s also quiet and clean. I came for a research stay, stayed for nearly three weeks, and it was perfect. If you want to visit St. Augustine, you should definitely book a room at Traum House. I’m very thankful for the experience. Everything was great.

The quiet of the property, its closeness to UWI St. Augustine campus and nearby shopping and restaurants, the pleasant hospitality shown by the staff, and the chance to meet other guests.

I enjoyed my stay at Traum House: the location, the fact that the rooms were fully equipped for everyday living (I could actually prepare full meals), and it felt very safe. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. The older gentleman who owns it was very hospitable & kind, he drove us down to the supermarket on our first day and waited while we bought our stuff. They also assisted with taxi services before we hired a vehicle to get around. I fully recommend Traum House as the place to stay while in Trinidad. I would definitely stay there again! I was fine with everything.

The spot’s spot-on for getting to supermarkets and business places, but the neighboring rooms kept me awake late at night with their noise.

I had a fantastic time at this hotel. The staff are exceptionally warm and welcoming, delivering lovely, attentive service from start to finish. The accommodations are clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, making it easy to relax and feel right at home. On top of that, the location is ideal—situated in a great area close to everything you need. Highly recommended, and I would happily stay here again!. Nothing!
