“Very good location and equally good amenities, good value”

The property sits in a great spot, close to High Street, and you share two reception rooms that are lovely, plus a nice garden for evenings. We shared the bathroom with two others, which worked fine thanks to a separate toilet downstairs. The huge kitchen has every imaginable utensil, and I’d recommend the homemade granola for breakfast.

Ries Home was cozy and welcoming, with a fully stocked kitchen and a dining room and garden that were beautiful. Two sitting rooms – one with a TV, the other for reading – were lovely. The location is fantastic, just a few minutes’ walk from Glastonbury town, with a bus stop opposite for Bristol, Bath, Yeovil, and more. It was quiet even though on Wells Road. We had a twin room with a shared bathroom; the shower and bath were fine. I’d definitely return. Coffee making facilities weren’t in the room, but there were plenty of supplies in Ries’s kitchen, so that wasn’t an issue. The only thing that could be better was the twin bed mattress, which felt a bit hard; I’d use a mattress topper because of back issues from my job.

I loved the healthy, self‑serve breakfast, the warm welcome, the bright room, the super convenient location, and the abundance of bottled water to drink – it felt like home away from home.

It’s 10 minutes from the city centre, the house is big, welcoming, comfortable, and very stylish.
