The room was spacious, clean, with heating and a fireplace for chilly evenings, and the property itself was beautiful; the staff were super helpful and great, and the front porch with chairs was lovely for relaxing outside, though I only stayed one night.

The hotel was very pretty, the courtyard lovely, and the lawn huge—sitting there at sunset was very relaxing; the service was good, we arrived late on a Sunday when nearby restaurants were closed, so we asked the front desk and the receptionist ordered take‑out that was delivered straight to our room; the location is a bit out of the city center, so if you arrive on a Sunday, it’s best to finish dinner before coming, since restaurants close at 5:00 pm on Sunday afternoons.

It was a wonderful stay, even a birthday cake was provided; the staff were very courteous and friendly, and the place felt very luxurious.
