The location is lovely, but the overall experience was terrible, the ads were misleading, the rooms were dirty and nasty, so I don’t recommend it.

The welcome was fine, but everything else was awful. The place is in a remote spot, the cleanliness is poor with an unpleasant odor, and the building is run-down and neglected. It’s nothing like what the reviews claim; with three kids, the owner Alessandro let us leave because the conditions weren’t hygienically suitable for staying. Alessandro was fair in canceling our booking without charging a penalty, but I still feel it’s important to warn other families with kids that finding a suitable alternative isn’t easy. We were lucky that the village we needed to enter the next day let us check in early the night before. Note: one room had a bathroom outside the room.

The location is excellent—a peaceful spot just a few kilometers from Lake Fiastra—yet the property feels a bit dated, though the staff’s courtesy is priceless.
