I was greeted by Tonie, the cooks were accommodating, and the room and facilities were clean. However, the guests in the room above us had a dog that barked the whole time, and when they walked around, it felt like they were stomping.

The spot is great, but the staircase is a real hassle.

The place sits right where you want it, within walking distance of everything, and parking a block away was a lifesaver given how pricey and hard to find spots in Newport. We also loved the dog‑friendly touches all around the building and in our room. Newport is pricey, so the cost was on the higher side for a B&B, but not shocking.

The staff were super focused and friendly, always ready to help. The parking lot was a bit far from the hotel, though.

The owner/manager was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast chefs did an outstanding job – the food was delicious. Room #2 was too cramped for two people and two Labrador Retrievers; there wasn’t enough space for two dog crates, so we had to put one in the bathroom. Watching TV required sitting on the bed, and the room only had one chair and very few power outlets.
