The location on the water is beautiful, the staff are extremely accommodating, and the stay is quiet and comfortable. However, it is very hard to find even with GPS coordinates, feels isolated, and you definitely need a car.

The room was clean and offered a magnificent view of the Philae temple, with a calm atmosphere and breakfast served on time and generous. The reception was difficult; aside from the language barrier, we felt like intruders in a house that seemed to be inhabited by only two men—no sense of insecurity, but uncomfortable. We didn’t expect such isolation and had to take a taxi back and forth for every trip. Perhaps the listing should be clearer or a message sent beforehand about shopping before arrival, and a small fridge and cooking supplies should be available. There is no restaurant or grocery store, so you must go to Aswan. There is no boat to Philae, which is just across the water. This house could be a haven of peace with a few adjustments and clearer communication. A person on the phone did their best to help, but we still felt truly immobilized, especially as single women. Moreover, all the windows in the room were blocked, so there was no natural light, adding to the feeling of confinement.

The view is amazing, Ahab is really kind and a nice man, and this has become the best place of my travel so far. I find it a peaceful spot with a beautiful contemplation area. The hostel is very clean and I slept very well. Thank you for everything.

The staff are very nice and friendly, the house sits in a very quiet area that’s perfect for calming down and relaxing, we enjoyed our stay a lot and would always come back.
