I was happy to find a bottle of water in the room. The bath was spacious, had a door at the entrance, and was great for changing. The affiliated parking was a bit far.
“Uitstekende prijs-kwaliteit verhouding - in een nieuw gerenoveerd hotel”
The hotel reopened in September 2026 after a renovation, and we slept there that same month: everything was brand new, super clean, and very comfortable. The beds were good, the room was small but comfortable, and the breakfast (for an extra 1500 Yen) was worth it with plenty of fresh fish and small Japanese snacks, plus a view of the whole city. Bad salt is available at the front desk. Odori Park with the subway is a very short walk away, and the central station is also within a quarter‑hour walk. Excellent value for money! Nothing to complain about; the hotel would have earned a 10 if it had an onsen.
The place is clean, brand new, and well‑located, making it easy to shuttle to the Autumn Festa. The downside was the traffic restrictions during the event; I spent about 30 minutes circling around before reaching the hotel, and most roads nearby were one‑way, making it hard to get there by car. The rooms were extremely cramped—two beds side‑by‑side with luggage pushed to the edge, forcing me to walk carefully between the gap to reach the bathroom‑toilet combo. That would be tough for a man. The partner parking was also a bit far, and on rainy days it was unpleasant, though public transport might be better.
