Very welcoming, with everything you could need, a short walk to the center, homemade pastries for breakfast, and the host Giancarlo asked ahead of time what I wanted so he could tailor the arrangements to our tastes and needs. Giancarlo’s mother was very friendly and hospitable. The parking is on the street and you might have to look a bit, but it’s found in the nearby lanes.

Giancarlo and his mother’s kindness was truly unmatched. In the end the accommodation wasn’t just a room but a full apartment with unimaginable services (e.g., a beach umbrella we used for one day to reach the free beach). The location is great, 10 minutes on foot from the center and close to several beaches. The homemade breakfast was very good, and I highly recommend it.

We stayed two nights and loved the roomy apartment and every amenity it offered. Its spot gives instant access to the city centre and the harbour. Breakfast was tasty and abundant, and when we asked, the host kindly made a special diet menu for a sick child. The hosts, Giancarlo and his mother, were warm and friendly throughout.

Our time in Alghero was outstanding, largely because of the host and his family’s remarkable hospitality. From the start, the host stayed in touch, ensuring we had everything we needed and suggesting great beaches, sights and experiences around Alghero and Sardinia. He supplied beach mats and an umbrella, and when we asked for a second one, he immediately bought a new one for us—an example of the care we felt. Breakfast was another highlight, lovingly prepared each morning by the host’s mother, who was wonderful and always met our requests, offering homemade traditional Sardinian dishes that made each morning something to look forward to. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and full of character, with a beautiful, unique interior that felt like an authentic Italian home. Its location was convenient for exploring Alghero and nearby areas. The kindness continued until the end: our flight was late, no new guests arrived that day, and the host let us stay past the usual check‑out time so we could enjoy the last day without worrying about luggage or waiting for the flight. What truly distinguishes this place is not just the apartment but the genuine warmth, generosity and hospitality of the people behind it.
