The room was spotless, the bathroom had been updated, and the sitting area felt cozy; the kitchen was fully equipped for a long stay. I only stayed one night, but I’ll remember this spot for next time I’m in the area. It seemed a bit pricey for a Thursday night in the off‑season.

It was wonderful, as always. The place is amazing and the staff are exceptionally nice and helpful. The hotel is in a great location, offers all kinds of fun activities, and has a rich history. It is great for families and couples alike, with something for everyone. The main hall has a giant fireplace and gives off mountain‑wood cabin vibes. The rooms are spacious, clean, and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The rooms are dated, but they are kept super clean, so it doesn’t really matter all that much.

The inn’s historic charm and great location were clear, and the room felt more like a suite—spacious, comfortable, and clean. We also enjoyed the hot tub. It’s obvious the place had better days, and a few minor updates could bring back its former glory: the iconic fireplace was off, the bar area was unused, and there was no music or atmosphere in the lobby. A little effort could restore that classic lodge vibe.

The location is close to Yosemite National Park, and the building’s history and style are appealing. Nothing else to add.
