The room was clean and comfortable. There was a nice common area and we appreciated the old turntable and vinyl records! The kitchen area was nice. This would be a comfortable place to spend a couple of days. The rooms are nicely decorated with old furniture and fine woodwork. Our room was too small for two people. It was very crowded when we laid out our futons with little room for our henro packs
The spot was ideal because I had to catch a bus to Muroto right in front of the building, and the room itself was super cute and had all the basics. The staff were helpful and I’d like to come back.
“よく眠れた”
It was the main building, but we could rent the whole block in a four‑person room. They said it was a renovated traditional house, and it had a nice charm. The staff were kind and gave us a lot of local info. I haven’t stayed in another room, so I can’t compare, but if a room is separated by a fusuma, nervous people might not like it.
“信頼関係の中で成り立つ快適さ”
The staff were very attentive and it made the stay pleasant. There were no complaints.
“Séjour au calme pas loin de Kochi”
The building looked like an old style but worked well, and it’s just steps from the center of Aki, a beach town a little outside Kochi, with plenty of restaurants and a beach. It’s still a bit hot, especially the ancient Japanese kanji.
