The room was spacious and spotless, ideal for a family. I was disappointed that all the Waterpark facilities were under construction, leaving only a few slides and the lazy river open. The staff seemed clueless about basic questions, and a sign outside the hotel said a wristband was needed to ride the shuttle. When I asked, the hotel employee admitted he didn’t know about the sign and suggested it might have been posted by an event at the convention center, which frustrated me so much that I walked away.

I discovered a dead mouse stuck on a sticky in my room, and my brother’s room—just a door down—had bed bugs. The waterparks were not fully operational, and I spent over $1000 on a bottom‑floor stay. If I’d known, I’d have booked Governor’s Crossing or Country Cascades instead. I messaged the property three times before my arrival and received no response.

“Decent”

I liked the indoor water park, but the $250 deposit felt excessive—nothing can be charged to your room, so that amount is higher than any deposit I’ve paid elsewhere. I didn’t receive an invoice at checkout and had to wait to get the deposit back.

The kids had a good time, but the laundry service at room 6115 was disrespectful. The people who deliver and pick up laundry or trash are loud, and you can hear every movement from the next room, making it hard to sleep.
