The traditional interior with open courtyards and rocking chairs for a post‑desayuno descanso was beautiful, basic, well maintained, and clean; the simple Colombian breakfast—eggs, fruit, coffee, and arepa—was friendly and attentive; however, there was no safety deposit box in the room, and vehicle noise and fumes from the street seeped into the reception and breakfast area, though it didn’t deter us.
