The hosts were very friendly, and staying in this chateau was an experience; the owner told us the chateau’s history, the breakfast was rich, and the bus stop was about a 3‑minute walk away, which we used to get to Strasbourg.

The spot is ideal for excursions along the Wine Route and to Strasbourg without being in the middle of the bustle, and the Chateau with its huge park already has its own vibe.

The owners of the Château d'Osthoffen were always present and helpful, the estate is top‑kept and very large, pure nature, and young storks were also there.

Excellent stay, the castle and its remarkable cleanliness and calm, the rooms are spacious and keep the charm of their era, very well heated – we had to lower the radiator temperatures! The bathroom is spacious and functional, free parking, breakfast is varied with many options, thanks Madame Grouvelle for the soft‑boiled eggs, a magnificent place a few kilometres from Strasbourg, a rare gem – we’ll return. Everything was impeccable.
