“Good stop for Pekoe trail stage 19/20”

Clean and comfortable after a full day hiking the Pekoe trail; only a short distance off the trail. The owner was friendly and the food was delicious. Dinner was a bit expensive, but it was the only option in Sapugolla village. An extra 10% service fee was charged, which was never mentioned before or during our stay. When we asked what it was for, the owner said it was for the room upgrade (he offered us on arrival because we were the only guests), the “free” water & coffee, and for service of the meals (on top of the food price), which made it feel like we were paying for him to accompany us at meals.
