“Habitación correcta, pero nos cobraron un extra por una ventana que daba a una pared”

The breakfast was quite good, offering both Asian and Western options such as bread, butter and jam. The room was spacious and comfortable. The window faced a wall, so there was hardly any natural light or ventilation. Paying extra for a window that gave no light or air seemed excessive and made the price‑quality ratio (100 € for 2 nights in Beijing) unaffordable.

The staff were helpful, but the language barrier sometimes made things difficult. English was prioritized. There was no fridge in the room.

We were greeted with hot tea upon arrival, which was a lovely touch given the chilly 1°C temperature outside. The hotel offered a daily buffet and evening warm porridge, and there were plenty of Muslim restaurants nearby. It was also super convenient that they had free self-service laundry facilities. One other plus was that they let us check out late for free since our flight was at midnight. The only downside was that it's a bit of a trek from the metro, but we just used Didi to get around.

The room was clean and had a big bed, which was a definite plus. However, there were a couple of things missing - no refrigerator and no elevator.
