“Great historic hotel. Would definitely stay here again”
The place is right on La Ramblas and close to Plaza and shopping, and the receptionist was awesome—very knowledgeable about the area and gave us a great dinner recommendation; it was very pleasant to talk with.
The hotel is old and located right off La Rambla, but the extensive construction work ruined that, and overall it feels very overpriced. It’s old and in need of refurbishment.

It’s close to the center, the station, and the buffet, and it’s open. However, it’s difficult to move around the hotel and you have to wait for the elevator.

The service was excellent and the room is beautiful and spacious, though the bed is a bit high for people with short legs. The breakfast offered little variety of sweet items.
