“Lovely old hotel”
I love this old‑fashioned hotel; the staff are great and nothing feels like a hassle, and I've stayed here many times. Only a couple of minor points, not really. the pillows are too hard, breakfast lacks hash browns 🙂, and the only thing missing is a small fridge in the room.
I arrived around 8 pm and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were a good size, clean, and comfortable, and breakfast was good.

Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, the bed was comfy, the room was lovely and clean, and the staff were friendly. The people in the room above me sounded like a herd of elephants—nothing boisterous, just normal movement that amplified in my room. My room key stopped working after breakfast when I went to pick up my bags; I had to fetch reception, and my friend had the same problem and had to fetch her out again.
Excellent stay in a beautiful location; it was cozy.
