The fact that it was a 10‑minute drive from the hospital was a positive. Most of the other aspects were bad: the place smelled damp, moldy, and like cigarette smoke; the carpet was old and heavily stained; the blinds were not blackout, so sleeping after a night shift was terrible; there were fruit flies in the kitchen; and there was no sign of cleanliness.

The fridge, microwave, and kettle in the room were great, but the TV never worked even after I kept asking the owner, and the apartment was only cleaned three times in twelve weeks.
