A fantastic little gem tucked away in the rainforest of Drake Bay. The accommodations were private and basic, exactly what we wanted. I can’t praise the staff enough, especially Emilio and Johnny, who went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. They organized tours, transportation, and meals with skill and warmth. The communal meals were delicious and a great way to meet other travelers. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. Away from the town center, it was safe and quiet. It was one of our favorite stays while in Costa Rica, and we’d definitely come back. The only downside was that the heat and humidity could have been a bit lower. :)

We absolutely loved our stay at Finca Maresia! The property is gorgeous, surrounded by nature and impeccably maintained. The bungalows are modern, very clean, and from the terrace you can watch birds beautifully. We enjoyed the shared dinners with all guests; the food was excellent (both breakfast and dinner). We felt especially comfortable thanks to the outstanding service. Emilio and Johnny were extremely friendly, helpful, organized, and created a very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. This is our favorite place in Costa Rica!

I loved the tranquility, the surrounding nature, and the family‑style atmosphere that made the stay remarkable! The lack of A/C was a downside—Miguel and his family are working on installing it, which would make the property even more inviting. It didn’t help that it was an unusually hot end of June (per the host), and we’d been spoiled by A/C up to that point.
