“Very overpriced, it was a very average hotel that I would’ve expected to pay about 150 a night for.”

The location was fine, but the staff clearly weren’t ready for the crowds this weekend—there were two weddings and another event, and it was the longest wait I’ve ever had for breakfast. Nobody likes hearing excuses, yet we heard plenty of them and apologies. The bedroom carpet was stained and dirty, and moving the pillows onto the chairs left more stains and spills—totally unacceptable. Our towels weren’t replaced, and the beds weren’t made when the room was cleaned for the day.

The spot is great for soaking up the relaxed, artsy vibe of Midland, with a handful of shops and dinner spots nearby, and the hotel’s Food and Beverage service hit the mark thanks to the helpful staff, while parking was a breeze. I wish a queen double room had been available, but I understand the room size constraints.

The hotel grounds were beautiful. The carpet in my room (318) looked dirty with lots of stains.
