Nothing, because there was no accommodation at all. The supposed place was a dilapidated house under renovation. We met no one, received no callback or prior notice that the place was closed, yet the money was still taken from us. This is clearly a scam; the contract wasn’t fulfilled and we will seek compensation. We had to find another place to stay that night. It doesn’t seem to be the first time, but bookings still lists this property.

It looked like a renovation was starting, but it had stopped. The PIN code didn’t work. The owner didn’t answer emails or phone calls. There was no access to the property, so I had to find alternative accommodation later that day.
