The town center is pretty, with plenty of cafés, bars, beauty salons, and all kinds of shops, a few Netto, Robinson, Rewe right next to the hotel, and the train station is a 5‑minute walk. The hotel itself is old, the floor is cracked, the pillows feel like you’re sleeping without them, the mattress is terrible, the towels look like they’re not new, the shower is shared and the hygiene supplies are minimal—just a crappy soap and one roll of toilet paper on the fourth floor. Hot water takes 10‑15 minutes to start running. One night is tolerable, but I wouldn’t recommend staying longer.

The location was great, and there’s a nice breakfast café just around the corner. We booked two rooms; one had a fan, the other didn’t. Having a fan in both rooms would have helped during this unusually hot time.
