Located 1.5 miles from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), the Hampton Inn Los Angeles Airport offers a convenient and comfortable stay for travelers. Amenities include complimentary breakfast, Wi-Fi, a 24-hour fitness center, business center, and covered parking ($29 per night). Rooms feature 50-inch flat-screen TVs, mini fridges, microwaves, and in-room coffee makers. The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service to and from LAX airport.

The free shuttle to and from the airport works well, but you really have to watch the buses because the hotel’s name is barely visible on the side, and if you’re late you’ll end up waiting 40 minutes before catching the right one. The room was fine: the bed was comfortable, the sheets were clean, and the bathroom was tidy. There was carpeting in the room, so I didn’t walk around barefoot or in socks, which is usually a problem in hotels. The airport noise was loud at night. Breakfast was a standard American continental spread—clean and adequate, but nothing luxurious or made with fresh, high‑quality ingredients. In the hallways and the restaurant, the floors weren’t washed with water; instead, the staff just wiped them down, so my soles stuck to the floor everywhere. In the restaurant it was even worse—something fell, and the staff dried and rubbed the area instead of using soap and water. Whenever I had jam, chocolate milk, tea, or coffee with sugar, the floor got sticky, and after leaving the hotel I had to spray my soles with water to clean off the residue.

The location, staff, room, and overall cleanliness of the building and parking areas were all excellent, and the breakfast was an added bonus.

The hotel is modern, in a great spot, and very comfortable—couldn’t ask for more. The airport shuttle was incredibly handy, and every staff member was amazing. The waffles at breakfast were a big hit, and everything else was perfect.
