“Smell, noise, discrepancy in amenities.”
The laundry room was usable. The unit lacked many amenities: only one roll of toilet paper for a multi‑family room, no bottled water (only tap), missing bakeware, limited spices beyond a steak‑spice mix, and the coffee machine was tiny. The coffee basket liners were regular size, causing overflow, and the AC couldn't keep the room cool. One window in the main room opens outward, and the staircase is on top of a closed space for a large dog, so the dog barked at your feet while climbing. Lawn mowing takes hours, and the unit sits right over the yard. The alley facing the unit has noise from a mechanic next door, and I woke up to a broken car horn that wouldn’t stop. Trash under the Airbnb in the Colorado sun is only collected once a week, so a hot, decomposing garbage smell drifted into the unit.
