The bed was comfortable, but the whole place was stuffy. When we arrived, we were given a room on the top floor with a horrible draft that came from the chimney side. The chimney ventilation was very loud and the room sucked in smoke! We asked for a different room and got one on the other side where the chimney noise and smell disappeared. We slept with the windows open, yet smoke still woke us up in the middle of the night, and soot particles landed on the bedding, floor and furniture. We had to close the windows and ventilate by opening the hallway door. The issue was reported to the manager, but he denied responsibility, saying it was a matter of taste. That irritated me because smoke is no trivial matter – it can be poisonous! This place hosts children and more. I have photos of soot and smoke in the room. I do not recommend it. Breakfast… maybe decent, but if you care about flavor, I wouldn’t recommend it either. I’ve never had worse coffee… I would normally eat and drink everything without complaints. P.S. The smoke was only a problem in the room; it was also felt on the staircase and around the building. The chimney is terribly black and honestly, it could cause a tragedy.

A large resort, mainly for group camps. A bit old‑school, but it has everything you need. Coffee at breakfast was a total disaster; a single large espresso machine would have helped.

The property is well‑situated and the staff are friendly. Breakfast is good quality with a wide selection of items. The service is pleasant. Everything was satisfactory.
