“楽しかったけどがっかり”
It was clean, but the explanation was missing and made things difficult; the BBQ never lit, and at 9 am in the morning the water suddenly stopped working.

I loved the sauna and the spacious rooms that went up to the second floor - it felt really big. They had some fun stuff like cards, games, and a projector, and the bathroom, sauna, and toilet were all clean and well-maintained. The sunken hearth was a nice touch too. However, it took a while for the sauna to heat up, the water pressure was weak, and the IH cooker didn't work. We also had some issues with bugs and there weren't enough trash cans, which was inconvenient.

We had a decent stay here - the staff was friendly and the bathroom was clean and well-equipped, which was a relief. The room was warm enough even in the winter, which was great. However, we struggled with the charcoal barbecue set; it was really hard to use and not very user-friendly - a grill machine would be a much better option. We also had some issues with the power going out when we used the hair dryer or toaster, but we managed to fix it ourselves by adjusting the fuse system.

The facilities here were really big and clean, which was great. However, I did notice that the steps between the kitchen and the rooms, and between the rooms and the outdoor bath, were pretty steep - it would be nice if they could make them a bit more gradual.

This place was a great stopover for us on our way to Mt Aso - it was located in the mountains and really helped us unwind. The staff did their best to take care of us, even though they didn't speak much English. Overall, it was a really relaxing experience and we appreciated the effort they put in.
