The Cumberland, Llandudno, sits on the seafront beside the pier, offering bright, classic rooms with flat‑screen TVs, private bathrooms, free Wi‑Fi, tea, and coffee. Some rooms feature panoramic sea views. The beach is a two‑minute walk, shops and the town centre four minutes away, and Llandudno railway station ten minutes on foot. Parking is pay‑and‑display or free on‑street.

The spot was perfect for both the pier and the town centre, so I couldn't fault the location. The host greeted me with a simple “hallo” upon arrival, which was about all. The fridge was right in front of the radiator, and the beds and bedroom décor felt very dated. I stayed in room No5, which also had a draft coming from a vent next to the emergency exit door that was incorrectly fitted; I had to jam a towel to stop it. I know Llandudno is an old town, but some work is needed on bedrooms like room No5—sorry for the complaint, but I have to share how I felt.
