Very close to the center of the small town Sundern, the suite for two people was affordable, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and nice. Unfortunately, the rooms on the street where the main traffic passes get the morning traffic noise.

There’s a disco right next to the hotel and no soundproofing—typical Dutch.

The receptionist was very friendly and helpful even after 8 p.m.; the hotel parking lot has charging stations for electric cars, which is why we chose this hotel. The room was spacious and the beds comfortable. There’s a Nespresso machine and a kettle, plus a small set of supplies to use them.

Breakfast was definitely a highlight, and the staff were friendly. The Kenya Suite was a real disappointment for the price: the décor looked pretty at first, but we found soap dispensers hanging from the wall, dusty lampshades, a TV remote with dead batteries, paper cups in the bathroom, the coffee bar also used paper cups instead of proper mugs, and the minibar was desert‑like empty—no water bottle at all. We’re talking about a suite 😢
