The host Francesco was incredibly kind, leaving a jar of olives from his own farm and a small bottle of lemon granita he made himself, both delightful. I also appreciated the wide range of local food products available from his farm and other regional producers. The air‑conditioning in the room was essential, especially with outdoor temperatures well over 40 °C. Having a washer (with its own space) and a drying rack was a real convenience, since we spent a lot of time at the beach and needed to wash and dry swimsuits and towels. The street parking right in front of the apartment entrance was very useful and safe. Francesco greeted us warmly and remained friendly throughout our stay. We used the Partanna room as a base to visit nearby sites, all easily reachable: the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento (about an hour drive but with excellent roads), the archaeological park of Selinunte (just over 20 minutes), Mazara del Vallo (just over half an hour), the Cretto di Burri and Gibellina (about 20 minutes), the Scala dei Turchi (45 minutes), San Vito Lo Capo (a little over an hour), and even Palermo (just over an hour away).

Francesco is a very kind and super helpful host who welcomes every request. Casa Blu is a small gem in southwestern Sicily, offering all the services you need! It’s easy to reach and serves as a great spot to relax while traveling around the island. Highly recommended!
