I stayed at a charming pension just a street away from the historic center, and the rooms were nicely furnished with comfortable mattresses, a fridge, a kitchenette, and Wi‑Fi. Free parking was available outside the building on weekends, and there was a free coffee and tea station plus a lovely wooden terrace. The owner, an energetic lady, was very friendly and communicative. However, when we arrived at 15:35—right at the official check‑in time of 15:00—the pension was locked; she rushed over after a call, but the housekeeping staff were still finishing up, leaving a few long strands of hair on the sheets. Her dog, which likes to jump on beds and armchairs, could be an issue for allergy sufferers. We felt a bit annoyed that the owner considered our arrival too early and complained that traffic left her no time for herself, despite the fixed check‑in hours. Overall, the place has great potential, and given the price, amenities, and location, it’s a solid, homely stay.
