The pool, bed, and garden around the building were nice. The room was mediocre, had no TV or coffee maker, the bathroom was dangerous and the room was messy, and housekeeping never cleaned during our stay. The electricity was scary. At arrival I asked if everything was paid, they said yes. Four days later they came asking for money while I was in the pool.

A very well‑located guesthouse, a quiet spot with excellent connections to all sights and the city centre. The staff were friendly. Breakfast on the roof offered a view of the river traffic, the Luxor temple, and even the Winter Palace hotel from the film *Death on the Nile* – absolutely perfect.
