The two huge pools and the spacious garden made exploring the large grounds a lot of fun, and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious just like the dinner. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the linens and towels arrived clean with complimentary toiletries. However, there was no Wi‑Fi in the room – you needed a SIM card, which we got from we, and the rooms looked badly in need of renovation, feeling old and dirty, even missing a door knob. My room was swarming with insects, mostly mosquitoes, and I’ve never had so many bites. Water wasn’t free; a small bottle cost 15 EGP, and the hotel is tucked away with no restaurants nearby.
