The location is central and check‑in was straightforward. Unfortunately, we had several issues that caused us to leave early. The air‑conditioning didn't work properly and leaked water. The bathroom sink barely drained. The communal fridge seemed to have been turned off at times, spoiling the food we stored there and forcing us to discard it. It was very noisy at night; a screaming child could be heard until about 3 am, and there was talking and smoking in the hallway. We understand that a central location comes with city noise, but the situation inside the accommodation went beyond that. We were especially disappointed with how our complaint was handled afterward. The problems we described were largely dismissed and a refund for the unused night was denied. Overall, we did not feel comfortable.

The location is central, but everything else was lacking.

The place was very clean, the host was welcoming and responsive, and the location was simply outstanding, close to the docks, bus lines, and nightlife. The value for money was great. Thanks again for the hospitality. We stayed 5 days; the room was a bit small, but that was noted in the listing. (Not a negative, just for clarity: the fridge and coffee maker are not in the room but in a shared hall with another room.)

The room’s location is very convenient, right in the historic centre of Trapani and close to the ferry terminals for the islands. The room is small and lacked a few items that would have made it more welcoming, such as a towel rack in the bathroom, a shower head holder, a mirror in the room, or clips to hang a swimsuit on the small folding rack by the courtyard door. These are minor details that can be overlooked. The most traumatic experience was caused by the water heater. In the first two days we showered with lukewarm water without turning on the boiler; on the last night we decided to turn it on because the water was definitely cold. After showering we went out for dinner and when we returned, the bathroom was flooded and water was dripping from the boiler. We immediately turned off the boiler and tried to contact the person in charge by calling and texting, but received no response; it was late at night. We spent the night collecting water with the towels provided in the room and emptying the single trash bin that filled every hour. Things can happen, but nobody apologized or even sent a friendly message. I find that quite rude.
