Herry was very kind and helpful with everything we needed. When our trip to Mount Bromo was delayed, he stayed with us until a taxi arrived. He cooked a delicious duck and kept an eye on everything. The photos on Booking don’t match reality; the place was filthy, full of cobwebs. The sink was just a toilet, literally a tap and a bucket on the floor acting as a toilet. The bed wasn’t bad, but you didn’t feel like lying down; we had to put a blanket on the mattress to rest a bit. We chose this guest house because of its proximity to the airport and good rating, but it wasn’t what we expected. It’s a pity because the host gives everything for his guests.
A great spot to spend the night before heading out to Mount Bromo.
The staff were adorable, the climate was good, and the restaurant is on the other side of the street.
The host was very friendly. The room was basic but comfortable. We could have dinner offered in the evening, and “Little Spicy” was not as mild as it sounds—laughs—but it was delicious! I recommend it.

I was very glad to find this place because it’s super convenient for airport use. The owner was one of the friendliest people I’ve met and would do a lot to make your stay enjoyable; he invited me to dinner downstairs with his friend and we had a good laugh. It could be a bit cleaner (cobwebs in many spots) but it didn’t affect my stay at all.
