“Noisy and dirty”
The lobby looks nice, but you can’t actually sleep there. The hotel is next to a train station that stops every hour at night. The rooms were dirty, the carpets had stains, the smell was bad, the plumbing fixtures were old, and the bathtub was filthy.
“Central location, good parking, simple but with everything, highly recommended!”
This beautiful, historic hotel sits in a prime spot, and I loved the hall’s style; the rooms were simple yet clean and had everything I needed. The only downside was the train station right in front of the hotel, though the horn’s sound eventually became a familiar background noise.
“Miguel was so accommodating and friendly..we loved the stellar customer service he provided.”
I skipped breakfast but still enjoyed the coffee served in the lobby. It was disappointing that the bar and restaurant were closed for renovation.
“Historic hotel with very friendly staff and good coffee and tea with pastries service from 7-10 am”
I still remember walking into a hotel that feels like a relic from a glorious past, but it’s clear it needs a refresh; the lobby and courtyard, however, keep that warm, nostalgic vibe alive. The staff were genuinely friendly, hardworking, and accommodating, but the train noise from the street-facing rooms was quite loud—if you’re after silence, ask for a courtyard‑facing room.
“I will stay here again”
The food across the street was convenient, quiet, and easy to park nearby. It would have been great if the bar were open, but since it’s being remodeled, that’s understandable.
