The bed was not properly made, only a sheet was thrown on it, so I couldn’t sleep there; there were no towels, and the place felt very unwelcome. I left within 20 minutes after arrival, which felt like a waste of money because the room was non‑refundable. I believe a full refund should be offered if a stay is that uncomfortable. The bathroom was even worse, with a very fast-running tap.

I never even checked in because the key wasn’t there; I was given two incorrect addresses and received no communication, leaving me stranded in London. This person should not be allowed to take bookings. Everything was a disappointment.

The place is close to the train station, but the images and description promised a private bathroom while it was actually shared. The upstairs guests were very loud; I told the owner, and he simply said “oh sorry.” We slept in a living room that had only a bed, no mini‑fridge to keep drinks cold, and the bed sheets were stained from previous guests. Despite the owners being lovely, we won’t book here again.

It was a scam. The host tried to cancel my booking on the day without sending an email, and when I called 20 minutes before arrival from the airport, he wasn’t there to check me in. Avoid at all costs.
