The location was good, yet the room’s lighting fixtures didn’t turn on, the bedside bulb was missing—probably for energy saving—air‑conditioning only blew from one side, draining the bathtub left the floor flooded up to the toilet, the neighbor’s conversation was audible until late at night, and the only amenity provided was a toothbrush.

Good location, but a 25‑minute wait at an unmanned reception, phone numbers on the counter ignored, and then finding a receptionist sleeping on the second floor; everything felt outdated and the air‑conditioning unit was noisy.

“落ち着けた。”

It was calm, close to the conference venue, and reasonably priced; however, when I reached the front desk a strange odor lingered, though the room itself was fine, so the first impression was off.
