Even though the rooms are in a private house, you don’t have to interact with the family. It’s very close to the public beach. There’s a fridge and hot plate for cooking. Finding the house is tough—street names are missing—but the taxi driver called the host, who rode over on a bicycle to guide us.

The room was filthy, there was not even a broom, it wasn’t the room we booked, the bed was broken and uncomfortable, there were no kitchen supplies—no spoon or glass—and the bathroom was worse than a public toilet.

Worst accommodation ever; everything shown in the pictures was false, there was no shower cabin—only curtains—shared bathrooms with the whole floor, a dirty toilet, no shampoo or shower soap, dirty rooms, spiders in the corners, dirty bedding, an uncomfortable bed and pillows, no balconies in any room, no towels, no view of the mountains as promised, no kitchen, no mosquito nets, and parking was problematic.
