This was by far and away the best place we stayed in during our recent trip to the USA. The Inn is full of character and yet still very comfortable. Add to that our hosts, Ron and Amelia, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, providing little extra home comforts, as well as local advice (and help with reservations etc). From the moment we arrived until we left they made sure that we didn't need anything. We really enjoyed delicious breakfasts, all home prepared and cooked when we were ready. It was great to chat with other guests around the breakfast table and the fire pit. We would definitely stay again; indeed we would go back to Kennebunkport just to stay at the Waldo Emerson Inn (and for the lobster rolls from the store just down the road). Nothing - it was all wonderful
