Claudio and his wife are very kind, making you feel at home. The room is comfortable and clean, located strategically behind the Ursino Castle. Breakfast is excellent.
The location is very nice, the room is clean, and the host is friendly with an amazing young translator. For me it was a bit noisy being close to the street, but earplugs helped. I had coffee and a cornetto for breakfast at a nearby bar, and the room was practically in the center. I recommend it!
Everything was spotless, with fresh, fragrant towels and bedding. The hotel is literally a 10‑minute walk to downtown Catania, has air‑conditioning, and the check‑in was quick. For the price I can’t point out any negatives. Highly recommend!
“Veramente a due passi da tutto!”
The location is great, allowing you to walk to the main city sights. I stayed in an interior room, so it was quiet. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the linens were clean. Breakfast is served in a bar a few meters from the property, the place is clean and offers a good selection of products. I had booked a triple deluxe, but at check‑in I received a smaller room; for me, traveling alone, it was perfect, but the price paid did not match the room received. It still worked out because I faced the inner courtyard, much quieter than rooms with street views. It is in a historic building on one of Catania’s main streets and probably has restrictions that prevented the windows from being renovated, which gives the room a somewhat neglected feel; perhaps it could be improved by at least replacing the broken glass and renovating, within the regulations.

The staff were friendly and helpful; the owner and a young team member welcomed me, even though there was a noticeable delay because of my flight. They gave me everything I needed for my stay. The rooms were clean, the bed comfortable, there was a smoking balcony, a private bathroom, a coffee machine, and the hotel sits right in the city centre. The only downside was that I only stayed for one night.
