The room was spacious, with a large bed and décor that evoked old classical times; the owner was polite and helpful, making you feel like part of a family and transporting you back in time. It’s about a 10‑minute walk from the city centre, with restaurants and a supermarket nearby. However, this place is a property, not a hotel: there are no signs or anything outside to help you locate it, and there’s no reception desk—though that’s not a problem for me. The owner and his family live on the ground floor, giving a familial vibe, but if you prefer more privacy that could be an issue. I had no trouble and enjoyed my stay. The TV is a bit outdated and slow when trying to connect to the internet, but that might give you more time to explore the city.
