The 2/3rd floor had no elevator, so carrying luggage was a real hassle; but that’s understandable because the building is a lovely old block in the historic center and just a couple of steps from the beautiful harbor.

The location is definitely functional. The waste collection system needs a proper common recycling setup.

The building is very pretty, with a spacious atrium. The stairs were not very comfortable, especially since our room was on the second floor.

When I arrived, staff warned me to be careful with the bathroom water drain because the flush could keep running; they didn’t explain any other consequences. I made sure it stayed closed, yet the next morning we had no water at all—zero supply—so we had to wash with two bottles of water. The manager replied, “someone in another room left the flush open and the cistern is now empty! It will take 6 h to refill.” In July! I’m not adding more comments.

The location is close to everything. The air conditioning cooled very little. I told the host so he could fix it.
