The location was very close to public transport for Venice, the staff were kind and available, and the parking cost was advantageous compared to the area average. The only drawback was that the bathroom didn’t have a bidet.

They were very accommodating by letting me drop off my luggage before check‑in and being flexible with a delayed check‑out, and the staff were extremely helpful. The downside was that the bathroom didn’t have enough space for a personal toiletry bag.

In the room everything I needed was there, and the location was convenient. However, there was a nasty odor, no elevator, and I could hear other guests in neighboring rooms. At reception, there was no taxi number listed; my driver never showed up, so I had to run to the station at night and hunt for a taxi. It was outrageous that the hotel staff didn’t arrange a taxi for me, and the security guard struggled to understand English.

The only thing that was good was the location. There was a lot of noise, making it impossible to sleep; the hotel is old, the shower cabin was old, and the room felt damp.

The accommodation and staff were fine, but everything was old‑fashioned, though that wasn’t a deal‑breaker for a single night.
