There was a private deck that was part of the house, offering stunning sea views from the deck. It was conveniently located—close enough to town but still far enough away. Minor inconveniences aside, it was overall very nice. The mattresses were too soft for our taste; we prefer hard mattresses and understand many Kiwis like soft ones. There wasn’t a proper dining area, but the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed.

Alex and Marina were fantastic hosts, always ready to help but respecting our privacy; the house was spotless, the view superb, parking was safe right in front, and the billiards table was a nice bonus.
