“Very comfortable stay for a good price”

The accommodation is very comfortable and luxurious, with stylish details such as a tea set in the room, and a tablet‑controlled robot that can draw curtains or adjust lights—though it only works if you speak Chinese. There’s a free laundry room equipped with a washing machine, dryer, and magnetron, plus detergent. We were lucky to get a room with a proper window, but some rooms face the hallway instead of outside, which could affect guest satisfaction. The staff aren’t fluent in English but are kind and manage well with a translation app, so we had no problems.

Everything was great: the staff were friendly, the location is about 500–700 m from the main subway for all of Shanghai, and our room was cleaned daily and matched the pictures exactly. I didn’t like that there was no window in the room, so the air felt stale; there is no refrigerator in the room, only a common refrigerator and microwave, which are dirty, so I don’t recommend using them.

“NO ES LO QUE VES. PÉSIMA EXPERIENCIA”

We arrived at the hotel and the façade and surroundings were already very different from what we imagined. The room we were assigned was full of damp on the walls, the switches didn’t work, and it didn’t resemble any of the pictures. The staff offered us a windowless room in a corner; when we refused and demanded a solution, they said there was no availability and the only option was to pay for a higher‑class room. We agreed to see it, hoping for a better stay, but it was still not great and smelled of tobacco, so we decided to start our trip as soon as possible. We went back to reception to pay the difference after leaving our belongings in that room, only to be told that the room had been given to someone else, leaving us with no options except what we had already mentioned. The worst service we’ve ever received, with staff laughing among themselves. There was a man at reception who wasn’t in uniform, wearing a tracksuit. This place is nothing like the pictures. Please don’t go, even if you find some good comments; it’s not that way. I couldn’t attach photos because we didn’t have time while trying to communicate with them in Chinese, of course.

The location was good, and several places were within walking distance; taxi rides to the center were pleasantly short. The staff were very accommodating, even though they relied on Google Translate. The window view faced the hallway, so the curtains stayed closed the whole time. The bed and room felt a bit small for two people.

“Todo ok”

The room was spacious and well equipped. It was quite far from everything you need to visit, there was no refrigerator, and we could hear everything from the neighboring rooms.
