The space was impressive, with good lamps, two comfortable armchairs, a table and a reading lamp; the beds were good, there were two wardrobes with plenty of belts, a minibar, and overall more space than many other luxury hotels; the staff were lovely. The lunch was not really continental, the restaurant was very mediocre, and the chef de salle was not friendly.

The location was perfect, breakfast was great, the staff were formal yet very friendly, attentive, and accommodating, and the view across the Giudecca canal is unforgettable; the shower could use an upgrade.
