Overall it was quite good, but the towels are not changed daily.

The rooms are comfortable, but the clientele is mainly German with activities and dining aimed at that group.

We stayed there last year and came back for the facilities, unlimited spa and pool access, good breakfast and dinner; it’s a large but cozy hotel. This year we got a room with views of the pool, the sea, and the mountains, a marvel! However, the night entertainment and pool activities (which I consider very important) have deteriorated a lot; last year there were at least four or five cheerleaders plus flamenco shows and live music… This year there were no live acts, and on one day they screened an English film (subtitled in German…) – very boring! Every night there was a bingo attempt that couldn’t happen because nobody wanted to play (maybe because the cards cost 12 €, the first time anyone has charged me to play a hotel animation game). One of the elevators was broken and wasn’t fixed during our stay, making the wait to reach the fourth floor endless. I hope they improve these aspects soon, because I fear they’ll lose clientele; several guests we met complained the same.

The tranquility, cleanliness, and staff are the main positives; nothing disappointed me.

The breakfast was really good, offering a wide variety of options. The outdoor pool was quite pleasant, with plenty of loungers. On check‑in day we paid, only to be told that the hotel was overbooked and we’d have to spend our first night at the adjacent hotel—an embarrassing situation since we’d booked two months earlier and nobody had warned us. As a “compensation” they offered half‑board or all‑inclusive for the remaining nights, which we declined because we spent most of our time outside the hotel, yet they still charged us for the night we stayed elsewhere, which was the hotel’s fault. The housekeeping service was disappointing; each day we had fewer towels, and my wife’s towel that we brought from Portugal was left behind. Overall, we were very disappointed with the hotel’s conduct in our situation.
