I’d recommend Caplebrae as a great hidden gem; I met Maggie, the owner, and she was so welcoming and friendly. Both my wife and I had a fantastic stay, relaxing, and we’ll definitely recommend Caplebrae to friends and family. The view, peace, and the BBQ hut were absolutely amazing.

Very clean and beautifully decorated with a lot of character. It felt warm and was in a quiet spot. Maggie was a fantastic host, friendly and quick to help when we had a car issue. A small bottle of milk would have been a nice touch.

The spot is gorgeous and worked out perfectly for a trip to Knockhill; the BBQ was a nice touch, used both evenings to relax. The place is beautifully furnished and has everything you need, except for one thing—a mirror. There was no mirror in the living area, only one in the bathroom, which would have been handy for a woman to dry her hair. I’d definitely recommend it and would book again if I’m in the area.
